Magic Gaming Delivers Complete Performance in Win Over 76ers GC

Magic Gaming is currently firing on all cylinders.

For the second straight game Magic Gaming dominated on both sides of the ball as they cruised past 76ers GC for a 68-50 victory on Thursday night.

Brendan “Reizey” Hill once again put together a stellar performance. In his second consecutive contest playing with the sharpshooting playmaker build, he erupted for a game-high 20 points to go along with a career-best 15 assists.

“He’s done an incredible job of adjusting to the play sharp and facilitating our offense and it shows,” Magic Gaming Head Coach Jonah Edwards said. “He’s been working incredibly hard watching film, practicing extra hours, and as a team we’ve just worked incredibly hard, especially since the trade.”

Orlando is currently undefeated (2-0) since acquiring Brandon “ToXsiK” Raudenbush in last week’s trade with Grizz Gaming in exchange for Mykel “KelMav” Wilson and won its two contests by a combined 40 points.

ToXsiK continued to put his suffocating defensive effort on display, limiting Ethan “Radiant” White to a mere six points.

“A lot of it is having trust in the guys behind me, knowing that if he does get by me, if he does make a play to get open, I have someone that’ll have my back,” ToXsiK said. “When you have that, it makes you play much more comfortable, so a lot of credit goes to (them).”

The humble West Palm Beach, FL native set the defensive tone out of the gate, forcing Radiant into six first-half turnovers and holding him to two points at halftime – a phenomenal feat considering the 76ers GC point guard is a two-time TIPOFF tournament MVP and came into the matchup ranking fifth in the league in scoring at 20.4 points per game.

“ToXsiK had a career game, he played incredible,” Edwards said. “I can’t say enough about what he does off the court for us and even in timeouts.”

Since the trade, Magic Gaming’s archetype adjustments have also delivered equally bountiful results.

Cameron “KingCamRoyalty” Ford once again excelled as a pure glass cleaner, notching 15 points and eight rebounds, and his two-man game with Reizey gave Philadelphia fits throughout the night.

Power forward Daniel “DT” Tlais and small forward Emmanuel “UCMANNY” Cruz each tallied 13 points, while ToXsiK finished with seven.

“I think we found the (lineup and archetype structure) we’re going to go with the rest of the year,” Reizey said. “We look really good right now; this is the most confident we’ve been all season in our team. (Coach Edwards) keeps us composed on stage and he’s more important to this team than anyone else.”

With the win Magic Gaming improved to 5-4 on the season. Their next contest takes place on June 6, when they face Heat Check Gaming (4-5) at 6 p.m. ET.
